I Need Chicken Storage Ideas Please!

How about teaming up with a friend?

Do you know anyone else with some freezer space? Mom, sister, neighbor, etc? You could offer to give them some meat in exchange for freezer space. Everyone knows your freezer works better full.

I would try that first before canning it....I just don't care for the taste of canned chicken.

I don't know that anyone I know has freezer space. Our one friend that's going to help us process is going to get a few of them, but he just got a hog done so I'm not sure how much room he has. I can ask though!

And I spatchcocked one of our last year's broilers and baked it for dinner! I love that cooking method!!! Thanks for the tip!

Well, the chickens were a little smaller than I'd hoped. I spatchcocked about half of them and they all fit in the freezers, along with 4 20lb turkeys, about 6 gallons of goat milk, and some venison! Thanks everyone!
