Well, I have known for years that the gov was not being very nice or honest (putting it nicely, here), but just had no idea that they would intentionally poison people to make a buck.
:) Well, maybe they were only looking at the "facts" that supported their position like almost everyone does. It's a natural way to do things. Most folk find a way that information not supporting them is wrong or biased and their opinion is correctly supported.

I'm much more concerned at their nosiness into what I eat than what "facts" they choose to believe.

They can make up all the support for their ideas they want as long as they let me drink my raw milk.

How does shutting down the few raw milk places make them money??

That would explain a few things. As far as "inflamatory", does it also affect joints etc?
Like abi said carbohydrates have a big effect on arthritis. At 47 I still have aches and pains, but 3 years ago I thought I was going to have to give up working on the computer in short order. Carpal tunnel was making any typing very painful. After 3 years of low carbing I am in better condition now than I was 5 years ago. Sure I still get the occasional flare up, but they are mild and easily managed now.

Another big factor in joint pain is vitamin D status. Vitamin D is a big inflammation fighter. Not sure what your insurance situation is, but if you have it, get tested. If you are deficient, you can supplement this time of year then make an effort to actually get some honest to goodness sun exposure WITHOUT sunscreen in summer.

I am also slowly learning how to do simple weight training, via Scott Abel.
He is a strong advocate for only real food with core training.
The people he trains are far and above healthier then their competition.
Do you have a link for this or are you doing a video? I went to his website but couldn't seem to find the how-to's. Thanks!

Well Abi, I am sure that SOMEONE along the lines at least suspected the truth and decided to go with the $$$ instead of our welfare. SIGH!

WZ: Good to know. I mean I have NO DELUSIONS that I will ever be as spry and pain free as I was 10 years ago or anything, but any relief will be good! :)

I started supplementing Vit D (2000 IU/day) and CLO (1 TBS / day) along with ACV 2 times a day. No blood tests yet, I like to live on the edge! :gig

I don't know if it is coincedence or some placebo effect but sine turning my diet around and supplementing the past few days, today is the FIRST TIME in months that my blood pressure hasn't spiked in the afternoon.

Will keep an eye on it and report back.

As for the sun, in the summer I get LOTS of sun on the weekends and evenings (I know, should be noonish, but get home late) and NEVER remember to put on sunscreen anyway!

Thanks once again for helping me out!

Speaking of sunscreen, has anyone else noticed that we seem to hear more about people developing skin cancer since they started telling people to wear it?

It only takes a few days for some health effects to be felt. That is the amazing thing!
This is too cool! I have to admit, tough, down deep I am still a little sceptical but am going to dive in and do my best for a few weeks and see how things go.

I realize all of you are probably rolling your eyes right now since you KNOW it works, but... I should be from Missouri too, I guess!

You're just trying to get auntie going, aren't you?

;)

But yes. You block vitamin D from produing. You block the LEAST dangerous radiation AND you stop the way your body tells you you have too much of the BAD by burning.

Nope, not in the least. Why? Is this one of the things that gets her going? (Remember, I'm still fairly new here. ;))

She is utterly unamused at how betrayed we've all been about sooo many health aspects :D Low fat eating, cholesterol evils, avoid the sun... gosh, is autism going up? Doing everything that causes brain damage to a fetus, huh? wow wow.

Me, meh. Let the buyer beware. hahaha. So we were all duped. Fool me once, shame on you.... Fool me twice, shame on me...

Of course, I don't have any children harmed by this advice. Only me.
