Gee, sorry to see all that water. I'm sure the ducks are loving it. Is the garage flooding?

Yes, there is water in the garage. But we've been through all this before so everything is up on pallets.

The swamp is frozen, thank goodness. The chicken yard was so nasty smelling last week :sick but there's nothing I can do to treat it until it stops raining so much. At least when it's cold it doesn't smell as bad. March is my least favorite month :p I don't even want to think about the next round.
The goat barn area stayed dry, sigh of relief.
That's about it. I'm laying low. I twisted my ankle trying to avoid a puddle while goat wrangling Friday and it got worse all weekend because I didn't have time to treat it. I did see the chiro and he said it was just strained.

I got a steam mop. :love Why oh why did I wait so long to invest in this magical product ? I might mop my floors more than 2x a year now :D

My sister bought one for her home in AZ. ALL her floors are tile (?WTH?) and she doesn't know how she lived without one either.

Guess I'll have to give it a try.

I wanted our entire house to be tile for the kitchen/bathrooms and wood for the rest but I lost in the bedrooms. Big G wanted carpet so now, 6 years later, we've got stained, ruined and pulled up carpets. All I say is "I told you so". he he he

Hard floors kill my feet too. We compromised with laminate in the kitchen/entryway area and carpet in the rest. The carpet is OK, but I know how dirty it must be. We only have one dog inside and she's not bad. Its the kids that are ruining everything. They are worse than pets.

Oh boy! Our feed store has chicks this week. And I need to go buy feed. And since I'll have to take my 4 year old with me I bet you can guess what will happen...:D

I'm also taking a short break from milking because of the weather, my bad ankle, my hand hurts, and the are being drained by the kids. I got almost a tablespoon the last time I tried and

It has crossed my mind more than once :D I made a rule that anything else that joins this family has to live outside.
