Yay goats!!!

I knew spring was here this morning when I pulled 3 handfuls of winter hair off my old horse as I walked by..... and that was just from her chest.

Yay spring! I love the daffodils, my favorite flower.

Your goaties are HUGE! Mine have not grown so fast! We have been noticing that Sebastian is really getting larger than Buckley and Emilee, but they are no where NEAR approaching adult size like yours are. Maybe because mine are minis.

Great pics Java!

You have mini-minis SD :D Mine just eat and eat and eat - everything they can find. I'm feeding a bale of hay every 2-3 days now and grain in the evenings and they act like they are starving.

man I want goats. Those are the cutest. My neighbor's dog actually sleeps with a little buck. They lay out in the yard all snuggled together. its the cutest thing ever. I thought he was holding it down, nope, the little guy was just cuddleing. :love

They have gotten so big though! I'm trying to leash train them and it's not going well. I stop as soon as it sounds like I'm committing murder in the backyard - which is about as soon as I get the collar fastened  They are wild things! They scream worse about the collar than they did for disbudding.

Ain't that the truth Jav!!! The older they get the worse they are. Terrible twos, tweens, and twenties if you ask me.

I'm in the 2nd round of coccidia for Fudgie's girls and it's like I'm intentionally hurting them when I round them up.

I should have picked all the daffodils yesterday. Poor things froze overnight. I really didn't think it was going to get below freezing. I saved some hyacinths and they are perfuming my kitchen now. That is my all-time favorite scent - fresh cut hyacinth :love

...and as I was milking I discovered both goats have cuts on their teats from the kids and Perdy has a nursing blister. :/ I hope they start weaning the babies themselves because I have no way to separate them until they are sold.
