I'm not having any luck getting a broody, and I want chicks! But, all the incubators I'm seeing are too big. I'd like one that holds no more than 12 eggs. Anyone know where I can get one?

THere are mini ones online, kind of designed for classroom use but I don't honestly know how well they work. I'll see if I can find a link.

Milking was hilarious. DH helped today and he hadn't milked them yet when they were full and he started singing "it feels like the first time" My hands hurt today.

After posting on CL for a third time, I finally have gotten some replies on the goats A couple were a little weird. I replied to each of them and have heard nothing back, so I guess I move on down the list? I don't really know how to manage it so I'm going with an appointment for the first person who replies that they can come out.

Gee, I thought that wind would have dried everybody up yesterday Actually, we don't have that much mud right now. We didn't get much rain over the weekend. Lucked out I guess. We even tilled up a couple new spots yesterday. So I got some broccoli starts at Walmart - 1.58 for a 4 pack, so I got a few since I didn't have the motivation to start seeds this year.
Also planted onion sets - red and a sweet spanish type.

Sold that horndog buckling! He will be matched up with some um...infamous ladies shall we say? He was a sweet buck, but he kinda liked me in a goaty way, so I'm glad he's gone. No more fending him off He made alot of noise too! It was so quiet this morning I could not believe my ears.

Cooked and cleaned all weekend and now I'm pooped, but I have a busy day. Feed store run, clean out meaty brooder, take kid to orthodontist, 4-H tonight.
