enjoy the ride said:
Dabbling is like learning to swim- you don't need to swim the English channel but you will be so glad you know how to swim when the creek rises.
Exactly.

You are so suggestible FC.

Maybe we should talk about rich fudge brownies.

kill the chocolate talk now, do you hear me! :)

I gotta fit into that swim suit come summer

LOL

no, swimming is one of my favs. I am an outside sunny hot sun water baby. Swim anywhere and water ski and do the beach and more. That truly (along with my horse riding) is my top fav in life to do! And I do it any chance I get.

I have not gotten to the beach in years! Life is truly passing me by. I am going this year come heck or high water. it's an easy three hour drive - a day trip, no doubt.

haven't been to a beach in years.....WHAT---it is a life requirement. :p

the salt water air ---I just love it. (clears up my sinus trouble I get inland..haha) WOW the beach is a fav of mine. Don't want to live there, but must, must, visit at least 2 times per year---and I do.

beaches are about a 5 hr. drive for me. no problem, I don't mind that trip..lol

you go to the beach first chance you make for yourself!

Can I chime in about the beach?
We love the beach!! During the summer we go once a week, for the whole day

My close friend has kids the same ages as mine, so we pack coolers, boogie boards, surf boards and my little beach table.....and all our other crap. We spread when we arrive like an army of 30 ....that way when other friends come to spend the day there is room.

We have watched our 7 yr olds go from... dabbing their toes in the water at age 3, running from the waves at 4, collecting sand crab and building sandcastles at 5, to last summer dragging boogie boards down to the water to 'boogie board' in the knee deep water. Funny way to observe their growing up from the view of a day at the beach!
