J, you can send that my way and I'll send some sunny but cool days yours, huh? We need rain pretty badly...we've had a few showers but they aren't enough and the state is on a burning ban right now.

Be neat to exchange weather sometimes.... :D

Oh yeah....frosty white when I got up. 31 degrees!! UGH! But, I got to put a fire in the woodstove....I sure have missed that!
Yesterday was so sunny, and ALMOST warm...I just didnt want to "work" so I meandered about. I decided to give the cornish pen a little attention...so I fixed thier "porch" up a bit...and put on a more secure door. No more cinderblocks holding it closed. ;) Then, I decided to put my little Frizfriz in there with the stinkies. She is the " mother of all" around here. Bossy, and beautifull! Maybe the flowers are a bit much...but they were just in a box in the garage...and besides...since the cornish have such limited time here, I want them to have a "pretty place"

Frizfriz was checking it out...then she rain in the crate, and chased all the cornish outside. She is so bossy.
The gold tub is a feeder....I can almost fit a whole bag of feed in there...and not have to refill for a few days! Now I need a 20 gallon waterer! LOL

I love your feeder!!! What a great idea. Except we'd end up with all the rats in the neighborhood having a baquet

That is so cute with the hanging flowers. Maybe little bossy will make those chunky chickens get some excercise!

Oh, she gets em up and out. In the evening....I lock the cornish in the crate/coop.....and she goes back in the Banty Shanty. Then she gets "guard duty" dureing the day, and rounds em out of the crate! LOL

NOT Southern, Ca. :)
I like the feeder also. I made something similar with a cat liter pan and a old black plant pot. But the lid is great. I need to think of a lid for mine.

:D

I don't know, I kind of like the flowers on the coop. :) This City Biddy coop belongs to a friend of mine. See the flowers are a theme
