Almost Self-Reliant
Well, on the homefront...its SNOWING...AGAIN!! Dangit! We have about 4 inches, and now the winds are picking up...jeesh! Old man winter is not letting go. 
Ohhh, so you think your coat, and scarf, and hat, and boots, and gloves will keep ya warm hu? Take this!! WHOOOSH!! Darned wind got me good! 
It felt like it was snowing splinters!! All the animals are tucked in tight...warm bedding...the chickens are almost finished with thier cabbages...water warmers are on...lights on a timer..and me and little Friz are sitting here by the fire. She is now in a little pet carrier...with pine shaveings. I think she is feeling better...when I sat down next to her, she started talking to me...well, more like complaining about her accomodations! 
Her stools are very watery...im guessing from the stress, tomatos, and all the water she drank. Hopeing they firm up a bit soon! 
She is still sleeping alot...but when I call her name she perks up, and talks to me.
I have high hopes she is going to pull through this time.
Oh, and when I told hubby about the possum...he said... " 5 shots? Looks like I am going to have to either destress you, or buy a LOT more shells"
