That's my tough trouper!!

The danged thing is out now and there will be no more catching it on this and banging it on that. :weee :ya

Soak that old swollen foot in some cold Epsom Salts water and you will be dancin' in the barnyard by Saturday night! :D :bun :bun :bun
Cold??? I was useing hot water. It felt soooo good. I guess the cold would help with the swelling tho. Tomorrow, once it gets so hot I cant get outside....a cold soak it is! :D
So, I have all these coops to clean...and the barn to muck out...by next weekend.....anyone wanna help!?? LOL I am going to take it slow...( not by choice, im still limping along) but looking forward to dancing with the sheep!

So, this morning I needed to take my neighbors mom to town. She has a flat tire, and needed to get a few groceries. I was planning to go tomorrow, so I just did my shopping today.
The farmers market is in full force already, mostly selling plants, herbs, and a few early veggies.
I picked up a small head of cauliflower for $1.00, a pot of rosemary for $2.00, a 4 pack of green pepper plants for $1.00, and a nice big bunch of green onions, for $1.00. Oh, and I got 13 sweet potato plants, for $2.50 and a pot of 7 cucumber starts, for $1.00. Looks like this evening I will be back in the garden. :D
This should round out my planting season....now to just wait for the harvest!
Now that I can wear my shoes again, I can get around a bit better.
I also bought most of the stuff I needed to make the pork and beans...but I don't have molasses, drats! Also, I bought great northern white beans, not navy beans. They didn't have Navy beans. Hope these will work.
The little grocery in our town was almost down to bare shelves. Not sure why, maybe the truck hasn't come in yet? I don't know. Maybe a sign of the times....things will become harder to get? I hate the thought of driving another 30 minutes to get to the bigger store. Oh well. It is what it is.

That is some wonderful news! I can imagine how happy you are to be able to wear both shoes again.
Oh yes. Some people look at me like I am crazy when I tell them how excited I am to wear 2 matching shoes! LOL

How's your foot feeling now that it's the next day? Make sure you don't spend too much time on your feet and ease into it. And definitely let me know what you think of the beans once you've got them done :)

Well, its still sore...and I have been on it a lot today. I think I will wait a few days until we cool down a bit to do those beans. In the 90's today.
As soon as I get them done, I will DEF post about it. I am excited!
