JUSTUSNAK...Summer coming to an end!?

If you can use a car jack you can use one of these things.

Remember me ... I am very old too 46 AND arthritic! I can use it just fine. The hardest part is putting the logs on and off!

Um, 46 is very old??? Please say it isn't so! I only have 7 days of 45 left!!
Your day in the city sounds like my nightmare too. Ugh!

So, today was stormy, off and on. I decided it was a good day for cleaning the house. Made fried chicken...mashed taters with gravy, and opened a jar of pickled beets, and popped in a few hard boiled banty eggs. YUM!
The rain cleared out early evening so I decided to sit on the porch, and watch nature come back to life. I glanced at the thicket up front, and noticed my Elderberries were starting to ripen. So, I headed out and started picking. In about 30 minutes, I had about 1 and 1/2 quarts. :P Elderberry Jelly....my FAVORITE !

The berries are just starting to ripen, so I should have plenty more coming...IF I can beat the birds to them.

ETA: FF, we are the same age, and I know how some days you just feel old as dirt. Nothing wants to work right...but, there are more GOOD days than bad...so far! :P

Yes VERY TRUE ... but the NOTHING that usually won't work for me is my BODY!

(I had better be good I have been feeling exceptionally healthy all summer! Thank God above!)

This hasn't been a great year for me. All the rain, and humidity...ugh! COPD..and arthritus...makes for a yukky day! However...im not complaining...I am still mobile, and able...most days!

Anyways....I am headed to town, to get my pickling supplies...and sugar for my elderberrie jelly! :drool

What a cutie patootie!

My daughter has a Pom named Kia. They are sure little spit- fires!

My arthritis is doing great. Lots of prayers from others and a specialist made all of the difference!

Are you going to a rheumatologist?

Nope.....no Dr's for me. Its not unbearable...just stiff..mostly in my hands..and feet. I know, the 2 parts I need the most! LOL
I just can't get into the thought of taking pills. I do morning stretches...feet and hands..and for the most part, I am doing OK.
Glad to hear yours is managed!
