Kel,

Have you ever tried Imitrex. It's expensive, but knocks mine out in less than an hour. Afterwards, I just feel like I have a migraine "hang over" - like being disconnected. Sure beats suffering all day with one. With mine, I cannot sleep and it does not help if I lay down.

Kel, I have a bread machine but I have only used it once...how many loaves can you get out of it if you set it for dough? I think the kneading part is what I'm messing up.

No, punkin. I dont do drugs; never did pills even for birth control. For the migraines, I just didn't see the point. Maybe if they had been occurring more often than one day a month, I would have. I havent any medical issues, so I try to stay away from them. I take a multi-vitamin daily.

My sister, the kidney transplantee, takes a number of medicines, some of them for anti-rejection. She started taking something for migraines (maybe Imitrex) a couple years ago. For her, taking a pill is a necessary routine.
I don't do drugs either, but I do take prescription medication. For me, if there is something I can do safely for pain releif, I'm going to do it. I may have to take one every 6 weeks or so. I don't know my triggers, so I don't know what to avoid. I think they are mostly menstral and there's nothing I can do about that, yet.

I know it sure did feel like a heat wave here today!

The boys are excited that the Steelers are going to the Super Bowl because all their friends at church like that team.
