Are you really saying that today in central Ca it's 108 at your house? Holly molly what is going on with our weather. It has not been over 68 deg here today and it was breezy and drizzle this morning.

The weather is just so odd this year. Stay cool.

Trying to, FF!!!

Actually, Tanks, this is normal for us. The San Joaquin Valley is a reclaimed desert. We have had years of 30+ days like this in a row. This streak is only supposed to last a few days. A few years ago, I took a similar photo which read 112.

Maybe my tomatoes will turn red now !

A perk? Laundry dries in about 15 minutes.

So, we went out to do our usual garden walk, and what did I find but two beautiful blossoms! DGD4 is showing off her sunflower leaf hat and saying "FAAAAABULOUS"....in a Valley Girl voice. DGD10, is the spokesmodel. She is 5'1", for perspective.

Wow! those are some TALL sunflowers and lovely grand daughters too.
Our sunflowers are 5 inches tall
That is great news about the ex. At least your DGD won't need to worry about him any more!
