OMGosh! LOVE the pics! Those little ones looked like they were haveing the time of thier lives. That reminds me of my grandson. Every time my son would bring him out here, to the farm, he would put him in "good clothes" so he would "look nice" Well....umm, NOT a smart thing to do on a farm. He would never let the kid go out and play here, only on the porch.! So, One weekend he stayed here with us, and I specifically told my son..."send him in clothes you rpobably wont want back" LOL We took him outside, it had been raining for a few days. As we started out, my then 7 yr old grandson said..."Grandma, I can't get dirty, Daddy will have a fit." To which I replied..."Daddy isnt here, and I DO have a washing machine and a bath tub, you get as dirty as you want" He looked up at me, smiling and said...really?? Yup, go right ahead. Well, Who would have thought he would dive face first into a mud puddle, then roll over on his back, and start makeing MUD ANGELS!? Oh, it was priceless. It was like watching a little piglet that was raised in a barn, being let out in the mud for the first time in its life! :lol:He had a blast!!! NOW, when they come out, my son brings him in jeans and old shoes! :p

I know right! My mom just about had a fit when we let Etta, our hen, come in the kitchen window and eat off of my son's plate....

They are only little once and they like to be naked anyway so I say let em go for it!

I've got a separate clothes rack for "church clothes" and everything else is fair game. I've given up on them trying to look nice all the time. They just drop ketchup on their good clothes anyway or someone gives them chocolate, which they smear all over their shirts when it melts on their hands so why bother?

Got up this morning and made breakfast for everyone, pancakes, eggs and sausage and then discovered that TSC is out of flock raiser until Thursday.....grrrrr....looks like I am gonna have to go to a local store around here and get a bag till them but they aren't open on Sunday so it'll have to wait till Mon morning. We have some cracked corn and I fed them some breakfast scraps this morning in addition to the 1/3 of a bag of FL we had left. They should be okay till tomorrow, I'll give them some cracked corn this evening.

Made 6 dozen pumpkin oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for the Halloween party tonight. Oh, and my brother sent me a pic of himself at his office party.....he's fabulous. I'll see if there is any way to attach a pic....gotta figure that one out.

Oh, I hunted all day. Took a short break in the afternoon for a nap and carving pumpkins with the kids....pics later.

I saw 3 small bucks and 2 does in the am and a buck and a doe in the pm but nothing I would shoot just yet. Too early in the season....I'm holding out for some of the bigger does.

We went to the fall festival at the church last night and had a really good time....they did a neat activity that I thought I would share. They did a kind of scavenger hunt, each child got a card with different bible characters on it-7 in all. Members dressed as the characters were walking around the festival and you had to find them in the crowd and get information cards about each one. When you found all 7 you got to go back to the registration booth, show them the cards, and pick out one full sized candy bar and keep the cards to study at home. We walked up to one character (noah) and discovered that it was Uncle T!!! He asked the kids if they knew who he was (noah) and they both yelled "Uncle T"

It was very cute. Everyone there was in costume so some of the characters were actually a little hard to find.

They had games and a bouncy house and then we met up with some friends and took 2 more kids trick or treating with us. Our babysitter dressed up as Snooky from MTV's Jersey Shore....big hair and all!

The kids are examining their loot this morning....Chad's mom is in town and we are going out to dinner with her tonight. I'm trying to recover....the kids rode in a wagon last night but I walked for 2 hours straight and my legs are burning! I wore my shape ups.....does my butt look better now??? :p

Here's a cute pic of my kids from yesterday...Maddie was TinkerBell and Tyler was a crocodile.
