I just hope it goes away.

I just had some oatmeal and a glass of orange juice and I feel a little better but still a little "off"

Dude, if this wind keeps up I am SERIOUSLY gonna beg Santa for a wind turbine.

Sounds like it could well be die off of toxins.
A hot sea salt and vinegar bath tonight may help a lot.
Two cups of apple cider vinegar and 1 cup of epsom or sea salt in as hot of water as you can stand.
Stay in till it cools slightly, then wrap up in socks and robe and climb straight into bed to sweat some more.
Drink tea as well.

You very well could be feeling the lack of toxic drugs in your body.

Cymbalta has a fluro compound in it... thats fluroide. Lugol's Iodine supplementation will detox fluros. It will also nourish your whole glandular system

The other thing Lori ... I think you really ARE reactive to gluten. Those stomach cramps of yours are a perfect indicator. Did you have the blood tests or are you just not eating gluten on your own?

No tests, I figured with all the family reactions and my symptoms it wouldn't be a bad idea to cut it out. Today I have had a bit of a headache. I still feel floaty and weird. So Mackay, you think I need iodine to help with the detox effects?

Where do I get that? Can I get it at a store somewhere or do I need to order it? I have zero money right now and I just want to feel better. I would do the epsom salt bath but I have to leave in a half hour or so for a Beek meeting.

Today I just had a salad with some chili on it, a rice puffed granola bar that probably had some gluten in it but I was walking out the door and desperately dizzy and brown rice pasta with red sauce and broccoli for dinner.

I'm trying but the combo of everything is just making me crazy. I figure it is the cymbalta issue that is really causing everything I'm feeling though. I have never felt this weird. It feels like my head is going to separate from my body....I'm dizzy, I'm slightly nauseous occasionally, and I am in a HORRIBLE mood.

I am hoping the gluten free diet will help with the depression issues, I don't want to go back on prescription drugs any more.

I didn't read the whole thread so forgive me if this was mentioned before... but Saint john's wort and ginseng really help me with depression... you can get them in the vitamin isle at WallyWorld and it's a thousand times better for you than chemical crud and Way cheaper! Some people drink them as teas as well... but I just don't like the taste of tea so I take the capsules.

Iodine is good if you have thyroid issues... (thyroid issues can cause fatigue and depression) sea kelp is a good natural source of iodine...

Hope this helps :D

Okay, sea kelp and St. Johns Wort.....looks like a trip to the Vitamin Shoppe is in order. Maybe tomorrow.

I feel so edgy right now and I just don't feel like myself. There is definite tension about the holidays and my grandparents social security checks were just cut almost $900 between the two of them. I'm also desperately needing to kill 2 deer for the freezer. I also have to get a surprise quilt done for my MIL....I'll fill ya'll in on that one tomorrow maybe and see what ya'll think.

Oh, and PRAY! Our house is going to be viewed tomorrow and I hope it sells, even if we have to get less for it than we hoped. We already dropped the price by $5,000. It worked cause we are getting a viewing...hopefully we get an offer tomorrow. :fl

Okay, gotta go get ready for the beek meeting....I seriously feel like I'm going to fall over and pass out.

Lori, you came off the Cymbalta pretty fast :hugs
I know when my sil came off hers, she spent 6 months doing it.
It affects the hormones so heavily, hence the likely reason you are so dizzy.

A bottle of Lugol's Iodine is very cheap. http://www.jcrowsmarketplace.com/lugolssolutionofiodine.aspx
$26 bottle will last you a very long time.
You won't be able to get it locally, unless its the pill version called Ioderal. That is a viable option on a budget as well, if you can get it locally.

I've been trying to come down off of it for the last 4 or 5 months. Tried going down to the 30mg for a couple months and eventually tapered off. I am just so sick of being on it.

I just got back from my beekeeping meeting and looks like some changes are going to happen. Our county extension agent is going to a different county and we are going to have to decide whether or not, as a group, to form a "club" in order to keep going.

I was dizzy and cold the whole meeting. I am drinking kombucha (thank you Blackbird for the scoby) and need to make a new batch. I'm hoping that this feeling will go away soon. How long does it take to get this mess out of my system?

By chance I saw an ad on TV this morning for Cymbalta that talked about not stopping it abrubtly. I don't know if the way you did it could be considered abrubtly though. Maybe that combined with the diet change is too much? Hope you feel better soon!
