How about a naturopath? That may help you get to some real answers rather than just another prescription.

Well, insurance won't cover a naturopath and it is massively expensive to see one. We have Aetna. Our insurance is good but my doctors are completely ridiculous. I went to one for the fibro and he just gave me injections that would work for a week or two and then I was shi! out of luck again for another 6 months.

Who do I see, what kind of specialist? My family doctor is extremely willing to listen but she is very limited in what she can do.

I'm done with my OB. She just thinks everything is mental. I think she is mental. :smack

My husband suggested anemia to me before but I never knew what to do about it. He was talking to someone at work that ended up having sickle cell anemia and he says to me "Lori, he sounded like he had been staring at you through our windows"

I guess I need to make a list and call my FD and see if she can refer me to someone.

I'm working on revamping my diet. I made pancakes for breakfast and they were really good.

1 mashed banana
3 duck egg yolks
1 cup brown rice flour
1 cup buckwheat flour
some salt
some baking soda
some baking powder
splash of GF vanilla
organic milk (will change over to goats milk if we ever get our friggin fence finished)
No, I don't measure stuff....I AM southern, ya know :D

Mix everything together and then whip the egg whites until fluffy and fold them in with some chocolate chips. They came out so light and fluffy. My kids even ate them! I'll freeze the leftovers so I can fix myself a quick breakfast.

The trick to this was the egg whites! It really made a difference adding them separately and folding them in gently last thing.

I have an odd question for you...when you lay flat on your back, with no pillow under your head or anything, do you feel like you are going to pass out?

not all the time....I just did it and I felt a little woozy when I got up but not as bad as it has been before.

Sometimes when i lie down I feel like everything is floaty? I guess that is a good word for it. I got so cold last night that I was shaking even though the heat was on and it was 70 degrees in the house. Hubby got up and made me put on sweat pants to go to bed in. He even asked me if I could go run my hands under some warm water before I touched him... :smack

How's your B12 levels. I had a b12 deficiency, and my symptoms were feeling discombobulated,--dizzy and lightheaded. go eat lots of liver and see ifit helps.

I've had that floaty feeling b4. Your head kind of feels like it's a balloon that wants to drift off into space. In my case, it was due to my MD. I hope that's not what you have. :hugs
