Okay, I just need to vent.

I have a treadmill. When I got pregnant with my DD my DH took it apart and put all the bolts in a zip loc bag and taped it to the bottom of the treadmill and we put the pieces in the attic. Now I have someone who is willing to come TONIGHT and give me $250 for the dang thing and we can't find the **** bolts. :he

I didn't lose 'em.....I was preggers.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

So, my husband pokes his head down out of the attic and says "what'll ya give me if I tell you I found the bolts?"

Well, he's getting lucky tonight and I'm getting rid of a treadmill Wednesday!!!

Wednesday

well, I am sick of my mother. I love her dearly but she just plucks my last nerve. My dad wants to go to the beach for thanksgiving and we just don't have the money. I just got our personal property taxes and they are almost $800, which we don't have. I am trying to sell my volkswagen again and hopefully the treadmill will sell tonight. I am trying to figure out what to sell Maddie's crib for and switch it out for her twin bed.

I told her that we need to stay home and hunt so that we can put some meat in the freezer, my goal is to grind up two whole deer (minus the tenderloins).

Gas prices are killing us. Chad has to fill up the car 2-4 times a week. He drives 52 miles one way to work. I am going to sit down today and do an inventory of our expenses and see what we can trim down.

Lori-how have you advertised your VW? I only ask b/c I remember you saying you tried to sell it before. A VW is a unique car, expecially a '74. so you might need to branch out to reach a larger area.

My hubby has had (or has) unique vehicles, and what he does is join forums specific to that vehicle. People who are intersted in those vehicles are on those forums so if one should come up for sale--you have interested buyers all in one place. I also had a friend who sold an old Porsche on Ebay with a reserve bid.

Just spitballin'

Thursday

Today is a little better. I am still aggravated with my mom but what do I do? Chad called me this morning and told me that he has more than likely sold our boat. It is just a little 14 ft jon boat but it was ours and we were just starting to use it with the kids. I didn't want to sell it but I guess it's already done now. At least it will pay the property taxes. We did sell the treadmill last night for our full asking price.

I am going to do a rush cleaning job tomorrow morning cause my MIL is coming to visit for the weekend. There's no point in doing anything today cause the kids will just mess it up!!! :p

I put some new pics of the ducks up on BYC this morning.

My babies are 3 weeks old. They are really starting to get some feathers and lose their down.

Maddie is doing a good job peeing in the potty but still not pooping. Scratch that, she just pooped!!!

On a sad note, my little banty roo Buddy has disappeared. I last saw him Tuesday evening. He looked a little sluggish and his comb was a little purple on the tips. I wish I had tried to catch him but he runs like crazy. I thought he might be a little dehydrated so I put out an extra waterer where he usually hangs out and I haven't seen or heard him since. :( He didn't like to roost in the coop/run with the ladies, he preferred to roost in the tree above the coop where he could see everyone.
I don't know what happened to him.

I have been having a tough week emotionally, worrying about finances and stuff. All I can say is "THANK GOD FOR BEEKISSED!!!"

I have been reading some of your posts in the Games, Jokes, and Fun section and I haven't laughed like that all week. It really helped to let loose and laugh.

I feel better now! Thanks for making my day a little brighter!

Friday

Got up and got busy.....got 4 loads of laundry done and on the line but it is cloudy so it may take a while for it to dry but it is supposed to clear up and be in the 80s today and tomorrow. Swept and mopped the floors, changed all the towels and cleaned up a little, ran the dishwasher for a change. Still need to vacuum but I am taking a break.

Maddie pooped in the potty this morning! :weee We're on our way! It's amazing what a little time and encouragement can do.

I banned all playdoh to the front porch (did I mention I hate playdoh) and my children decided to destroy the front porch with it. It was everywhere. I made both of them pick every bit of it up and put it in the trash and then fixed up a bowl of soapy water and made both of them scrub the front porch until it was brown again. Took about an hour but they got it clean while I hung out the laundry and helped them by pointing out where they needed to scrub.

Do you think ages 4 and 2 are too early to start cracking down? Gotta teach them early, right Bee???
