Mum made a kid creep! Its very small mostly because there isn't a lot of available corner space in the goat shed and she had to make it out of materials we have hanging around.. like the pickets. I'm hoping the pickets are incentive NOT to jump it, she left a small "kid door" near the bottom for April to scoot through and she said April has been in it a few times to eat and hang out, ect. Mum was thrilled, she said that April was very nosey during the whole building process and even stood in the creep while mum built it around her. As you can see, she was super interested in mum taking the photo (look at the bottom of the photo lol)

Hopefully April is accepted and gets her place in the herd soon and hopefully she takes advantage of the creep later on tonight when Cissy and Mione are brought back in. I suspect by the time I'm home again that April will have become socialized with the family. Mum gave her some grain this morning as she didn't get any last night (though she tried!) and she was quite hungry, so it looks like the goatie grain will be a good incentive for her to be patted and such.

And an update on Cissy's Lump, mum checked it this morning when she turned them out and it hasn't gotten any larger or smaller and it still has all its hair on it.

I just finished drying my low-top converse shoes and was ready to put the laces back in. Laces are missing. No biggie, I'll take the laces out of the pink ones.. THEY haven't been PEED on yet. WRONG. Now, Accio has chronic cystitis but he's an indoor/outdoor kitty now by his own making and for SOME reason if he needs to go pee indoors he feels the need to pee on my converse. Not all my shoes. JUST my converse. He'll leave ALL my other shoes untouched and pee on my CONVERSE. He's now peed on all 3 pairs.

:th I officially disown you Accio :/

Sorry about laughing but I have an ancient cat who likes to pee on selective clothing items. I feel your pain!

A man of discriminating taste. How funny.

We have a dog that is getting a bit senile. So she has her spot in the living room that she does her business. She doesn't have a problem, just sometimes forgets that she is supposed to go outside and sometimes she just doesn't want to go outside.

Awwww.....remember that a cat who has pain when he/she pees will try to find comfort by finding the smell of the person who usually comforts and helps him/her. He's asking for your help.

Been there, done that, got pee'd on one night when my old cat decided I wasn't hearing the message of the shoes and pee'd on my head while I was sleeping..... :/

Kitty is our 4lb Toy Poodle. She lives in the house with us because she doesn't get along with the other girls and thus doesn't get to go out in the run during the day. Normally she hangs out in the front yard, and could careless about the chickens or ducks. I put our new ducklings out last night with the big ducks, and we took the seperating pen out of the duckshed today so they could come out. They came out, and then about half an hour later they went missing. I looked everywhere but mum is the one who found them. She was balling, sitting on the grass crying because she had found them dead. Kitty was standing between them covered in blood.

Everything is going so so so wrong this week. Money is extremely tight because dad hasn't been paid in a month because the company that should have paid him "lost" his invoice. We have almost nothing left in the house and I've had to max out of my credit card in order to get animal feeds and the basics plus gas to last us (and the goat vet out). My credit card only has a limi tof $2000 but I'm a student who has no job because apparently part-time retail and food service jobs don't exist in Toronto. And now this. This is the worst. The end all of everything because I worked so hard, so so so hard to raise those ducklings. Our drake, he was supposed to be our drake so we wouldn't have to worry so much about losing ducks in the future because we'd have fertile eggs and I waited all year to get those ducklings from Performance Poultry and now its all gone to waste. Its all for nothing because I let this happen to them.

Mum is never going to forgive Kitty for this. As I type this, Kitty is up for free on Kijiji because mum can't even look at her anymore. She wants nothing to do with her anymore. I don't know what to do or say because everything I say makes her sadder and I'm sad because its all my fault for putting them out with the big ducks.

I don't know what to do anymore.

So sorry. Not much else I can say. Things will be looking better in a few days, stuff like this doesn't last forever.

I'm so sorry. Hopefully your mum will be able to understand that Kitty is just acting as a dog would. Kitty didn't purposely try to make you unhappy, she was just being a dog. I hope things get better for you. :hugs

Our dogs killed one of our barn cats a couple months ago. I was so angry I couldn't look at them for a day. Logically I knew they were just being dogs and didn't like that new animal in their yard but I was heartbroken that they killed my favorite barn cat. I don't even know why that barn cat had come into the house yard. He never did that before.

Anyway, I hope you all can eventually forgive Kitty.
