wow lupin you sure have had your share of bad weather problems!

be careful of leaning buildings, with a snow load on the roofs, it might be enough to take them over and you don't want to be under them!

yes, hmm...insurance is a good thing...LOL

stay safe around unstable buildings. I bet you can't wait for spring to give you some relief!

You sure have some weather where you are don't you? Geeze.

How are things on the boy front? I have a 17 yr old daughter and I know boys can be a real pain. I will tell you though, if it is meant to be it will be. Do not try to make yourself (or him) something that you are not in an effort to win him over...that will never last. Be yourself and let him be his true self and if it is right you... will both know it! Good luck sweetie.

Aha, well true to life Kemp has not called. I'm not surprised to be honest, he's not exactly known to follow up on calling people. I'll probably see him sometime over the summer as he's going on some tour of Canada and is going to hitch the whole way. My house is on his way out east.

Weather sucks here LOL. It's cold out today, but sunny and it snowed a bit last night so we can get the truck up the driveway now LOL.

LOLOL yeah.

The roof is an a-frame pitched roof, with steel on one side and the original cedar shingles (though most are missing now LOL) on the other. There isn't any snow on it, it just slides right off.

Can't wait for that deathtrap to go, we're going to build a nice stable block up there. The town lets us build up to 108 sq. ft. without permits :D Here come the 10x10 stable blocks LOL.

OMG We might have a boarder! ... There was a girl looking for outdoor board for her 15.3 Thoroughbred Gelding on the Belleville Kijiji, so I replied to tell her we have a space available. We don't have any horses here right now, but once we have one it'll be easier to get more.

She emailed me tonight to ask if she could come over tomorrow and take a look at the property, unfortunately we still have the huge pile of junk outside the barn from the clean-up. It's unlikely we'll be able to get rid of it by tomorrow, but I can get the electric fencing finished by the time she gets there, and hopefully get rid of those huge boulders by the access gate. Not sure what we'll do about the holes in the ground, we'll have to get that sorted real fast, we can dig by the old rabbit barn foundation and take soil from there, to the field and dump it to flatten out the areas by the time anyone brings their horse here.

We won't be showing her the barn, we'll just show her the well system on the right hand side by the driveway.

Ugh.

My jobs for tomorrow

1. Finish the electric fencing in the field DONE

2. Put the stock tank down in the field DONE

3. Remove boulders from the field DONE

4. Put the t-posts in the ground for the electric gate across the metal gates at the bottom of the field DONE

5. Draw up plans for the farm, print off photos of it in the summertime

6. Draw up tour plans

7. Put up the rest of the trusses on the duck house

TOO MUCH TO DO

You sure have full plate tomorrow! But, once it is done it will be easier to just tidy up if another potential boarder comes along! Let us know how it goes!
