#1 thing I learned is...you can't out-train a bad diet. Cleaning up what you eat will work. Personally, though I HATE to do it, a food journal is the best tool for me so I can remember what I have eaten. If you want to do some exercise, check out T-Tapp, a workout created by a woman named Teresa Tapp. It is rehabilitative for the entire body, especially the core. I really can't recommend it enough. There are some exercises to try on the web site, and it requires no equipment other than a DVD. The basic workout is only 15 minutes long and it has helped my body come back from 3 terrible pregnancies and other abuses. DH does it with for his back aches and gets tremendous relief. She created this workout to rehab her own back injuries, but it does so much, much more than that. Try it! You won't regret it.

Well, I figured I should keep track of what I eat daily, and thought I'd put it here, too, so ya'll can give me some advice/tips on what I could either add or cut down on (I will NOT cut out bread, so don't even suggest it  ).

Breakfast today was 1 cup of Honey Nut Cheerios, with 1/4 cup milk (yes, I figured I'd best measure it out!), 1 banana, and orange juice.

Now I'm on lunch. Lunch is a salad made up of lettuce, grape tomatoes, and cucumber (fresh from my own garden!) and I only allowed myself 1 tablespoon of dressing. Let me tell you, that's not enough dressing! LOL My salad tastes BLAND...

Not sure what we'll be having for dinner, but I'll be sure to post it here, too.

OH and I haven't snitched any sweets inbetween meals today...uh yet...I'm thinking I'm going to have a sliver of that birthday cake, but I'm not too sure on that....lol

So far my activity today has been the normal feeding/watering of animals, and working on the breeder pen that I've yet to finish.

Instead of a dressing - how about a vinaigrette with a little oil and a great dash of acv and herbs? Or maybe some lemon juice might give your bland salad a kick.

ETA - 1/4" x 1/4" x 1/4" piece of cake with no frosting is a good size piece. :D

Salad is all gone, so I'll try to remember that for next time! :)

You mean I have to scrap off all the icing? but, MOM, that's the best part?! :gig

I think I'm going to have applesauce instead.

How about a piece of fruit for your sweet tooth?

Remember that sweet tooth will go away. Before I shook up our eating style I craved a lot of sweets, literally after every meal I wanted something sweet...even after breakfast! Now that I have moved away from so much processed food, I do not have the sweet cravings at all anymore.

you are doing great! Keep at it girl :D
