I just really want to do laundry, and take a shower at my own house. And watch a movie and cook dinner at the same time, lol. We were supposed to go on a big day trip tomorrow but we can't leave the generator running unattended all day while we are 2.5 hours away. So, postponed (again). I am unhappy.

But, DH will work a half day and then when he gets home we will work on cutting pork. It would be awesome to get the whole pig in the freezer, but at least a chunk of it.

I am exhausted, will be in bed very soon!

Oh we will be doing the site work for the barn very soon, in the next week or two. As soon as DH's friend can get his tractor over here. Yay!

Well, when this day trip finally happens it will be awesome!!

Hope you get the pig done! It'd be nice to have that out of the way.

It would be a good night to get to bed early for sure. If I wasn't watching this stupid world series game I'd probably be in bed already! Hope they don't do extra innings tonight... I can't take it.

Yay for starting getting the site work done soon!

I am a bad baseball fan. I don't even know who's in the world series this year!

It certainly will be nice to have the pig done. And the barn in progress. Also he can move the chicken coop while the tractor is here so that's a good chunk of our winter prep to do list.

Hope your power comes back tomorrow. Is your DD bored with it yet? Break out the puzzles, cards and candyland. LOL

I dont think the power being out affects DD all that much really. She has a zillion toys, puzzles, coloring books and crafts and we read a lot anyway. The generator powers most things that affect her anyway. Just minor annoyances really. It's most annoying for DH who has to keep turning breakers on and off and refilling the generator, and for me who is running out of clean clothes and used to doing laundry every day!

DD is very upset she has her annual physical tomorrow because she knows she'll get a flu shot. That is far more concerning for her! And I have to get my gestational diabetes test next week so we are doctor-unhappy together lol!!

The power company is on my road! I can see them! Of course I don't think the lines leading up to us are up and running, but one step closer!

DH seems to think we'll finish the pig today. Would be so awesome. Starting after lunch.

And I looked at the calendar and realized the meat birds will need to be done in the next 3 weeks. They might not be huge but they're meat, lol.

Somehow, we will be ready for winter!
