I am an unhappy person. Brakes won't be fixed today. Why does everything have to break this week?

So we are working on moving part of the pig fence so she has some fresh grass and brush to munch on. And other assorted work that must be done. He needs to finish working on his friend's truck so he can get that out of here too. DH will have to take some time off to bring me up to get the girls at some point this week, I don't want to make her wait for us too long.

Yeah no kidding! I hope so too!

DH got distracted and didn't finish the pig fence so we'll work on it at some point tomorrow.

I am exhausted. The time change totally messes me up, plus I didn't sleep great last night. I will probably be in bed early tonight!

My extra load is starting to weigh on me too lol, I haven't gained a ton of weight (I gained wayyyy too much with DD, happy I haven't yet this time around), but the belly feels huge. Since they changed my due date, my 3rd trimester starts Tuesday. So about time for the uncomfortable part I suppose. I appreciate that I am able to carry my own children and I know a lot of people can't, but... I hate being pregnant. I really just don't like it. Don't love the newborn phase either so I'll be very happy in like, July lol.

So DH, DD and I may be alone for Thanksgiving this year. I think we might do ribs. Really not into thanksgiving. We'll have leftovers with my parents afterwards and get our turkey fix. I hope no one in his family guilts him into seeing them for turkey day, I'm looking forward to staging home!

:hugs New humans are awesome, but carrying a little wriggling, kicking load, strategically placed for bladder attacks and other discomforts, not so much! It will all be worthwhile when you have your beautiful new daughter.

Sorry to hear about the mishap with the brakes now.

I like all the holiday hub-bub. The more, the merrier. Last year, we hosted Thanksgiving and invited friends with no nearby family. We had a hay ride and had fun.

I love Christmas! And pretty much all other holidays, just not Thanksgiving. Actually what I have always wanted to do when the kids are older is volunteer at the homeless shelter/soup kitchen, or something similar, serving Thanksgiving dinner. I think that's the only thing that feels like the right way to spend that particular holiday for me. Don't know why.
