Lol Sam says it's 8 degrees in MN right now... So yeah, it could be worse! November can get cold here, yes. Awesome huh.

Yea, she told me it was cold, wet and miserable...but not EIGHT! Dang - crazy!

Of course, if you say that you have weather twice as warm as her it sounds pretty good. But, if you say you're only 8 degrees warmer - it doesn't sound so great, lol!

I'm gonna pass on that one, @baymule ! However, we are going to get a tad cooler "they" say! I'll be excited if it just stays below 90 for a few days, lol!

Gah! I am a glucose test failure! Have to go do the 3 hour test this week. Hope I pass that one. I kind of thought this might happen. I've been having bad reactions to sugar the past few weeks. Grrrr not cool, if I fail I have to go on sugar/gluten free diet just in time for the holidays.

Oh noooooooo! No sugar free for the holidays... that's just cruel! Hopefully you'll ace the next test. :)

Your health is #1 holidays and sugar are farther down the list. You will soon be holding the reason for all the "beached whale" feelings and it will all be worth it. Try to remember that it was worth all the discomfort, pain, swollen feet, denial of sugar.......when the "baby" is 15 years old and a PITA.

How about 51 and a PIA!?

Yeah, they are at their best when under 5 ... BUT sugar is bad for you and that really sucks as all the "good" stuff has it. Hey, you only have another 3 months!!!! Diabetes is NO picnic. Pay attention if you are in that danger zone. Not all gestational diabetes goes away, so a few months of "limits" can mean of lifetime of good health.

Hoping you pass the next set of tests.

Yeah I'm not actually that worried about it, I have never felt better than when I briefly went on a self-imposed sugar/gluten free diet years ago. I'm not the type to not follow medical advice. I just really like pumpkin pie. If I can't have it for Thanksgiving someone better be making it for me in January!

My MIL invited us to Thanksgiving at her house. SIL we don't speak to is going. So yay we're not going! MIL is going to be mad when DH tells her no. Why SIL and her hubby get to be vicious to us (her hubby has literally physically assaulted DH and SIL has verbally attacked me) and we are jerks for avoiding being around her.... I will never understand.

You'll be fine...it's not like you're out to sabotage your pregnancy with a piece of pie, lol! Even a full-blown diabetic can actually eat some sugar....it's all about balance. I'd give up stuffing for pumpkin pie any ol' day, lol!

And, I don't blame ya for not wanting to 'enjoy' thanksgiving with that side of the family...geeze!
