My husband does not handle stress well, and this is "his" dog. Miserable person to be around right now...

IF she has a bowel obstruction she could display symptoms you mention. Any chance she at something non-digestible?

This past summer my little dog began having really bad breath and was eating less, more slowly. Vet trip. Had her checked thinking a bad tooth. Set up for dental cleaning, was minor amount but, still tooth issue concerned me. In the cleaning, vet found a piece of string wrapped around her tongue, all the way at back, with a knotted portion down her throat.

Removed and all was well. Sometimes they get into trouble with what they put into their mouths :idunno

I wondered that but she's eating and drinking. We had a dog swallow a sock when I was a kid. That was expensive. But he couldn't eat or drink.

I was sure hoping she would be 100% this morning....ugh. Emergency calls...geeze not fun at all!

If only they could talk...
Ditto that!

I just hope she needs to go make a big poop and feels better afterwards!

HOw are the new girls doing?

Well not 100% but moving a little better and more perky when we go to pet her.

Girls are good, still look kind of shell shocked lol! They had never left their farm before so kind of a crazy day for them. The one who hasn't been bred before (black collar) is pretty wild so she'll be interesting to stand train in the spring! Friendly though, and treat motivated.

Funny, you said "treat motivated" just as I was thinking a handful of raisins could work! lol

Glad your dog is a bit better.

:celebrate Yay we have pee and poop! And she took a stroll around the yard and drank a bunch of water. And now she's eating her food. I think she either pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve. Still walking a little funny but MUCH better.

WooHoo! At least you know those systems are a 'go'!
I think she either pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve.
I'll betcha you're right. If all "in" systems and "out" systems are working... then that mostly leaves muscle or nerve like you mentioned. Hope this is the end of her issues!
