Oh no.... any chance she got hit by something while ya'll were gone? I wonder if she's got any swelling pressing on a nerve or something? Just grasping at straws here....

Do ya'll have any funky ticks that cause any of those kind of problems? Poor thing! And, poor y'all! You've had a rough week! Hope it gets better!

She was walking kinda weird when we left, we crate her when we leave because she's got wicked separation anxiety. She was chasing the rooster this morning, acting normal. Ticks should be hiding now with the cold.... Umm yeah I have zero clue what the heck is wrong with her. She's drinking water, hasn't eaten but she free feeds so it's not abnormal for her to ignore her food in the evening. There isn't an obvious spot that hurts when you apply pressure, so I can't tell if it's an abdominal thing or her hips or back.

Yeah it is. She's only 3 and alanos are not sensitive to pain so she really did herself in to be reacting the way she is. She's on the bed with me now (spoiled dog, I know!) she did eat a dog treat.

Well, she deserves a treat! Glad she ate it - that's gotta be a good sign! I'm sure a nice comfy bed will do her a world of good! ;)

Sorry for the TMI but her anal glands look to be quite swollen. And she hasn't gone to the bathroom for a while. She is sleeping now so I'm going to try to sleep while she seems comfortable and DH will keep an eye on her (he's the night owl!) of course she's taking up more than her fair share of MY bed! Lol

It seems like a dramatic reaction if that is all it is... My chow mix has had anal gland issues and he usually just smells like the worst ever when he has issues.

Clara just woke me up and wanted to go out. DH took her out, we'll see if she can go. I really don't want to bring her to the crappy emergency vet. They're so awful.

Well she hasn't gotten up off her dog bed yet. But she is sleeping peacefully, and woke up briefly when I got up wagging her tail, then ate a dog treat. We'll see when she gets up how she feels. I'm tired. DH is sleeping in his recliner, his dog at his feet. My chow mix keeps looking at her like what's wrong with the psycho? She's... Not psycho!
