The neighbor helped DH cut down 6 huge pine trees today that were irritating us. The man is good with a chainsaw. DH wasn't so sure about a few of them but the neighbor insisted he had it under control so there they go! It opened up our front yard and driveway a ton, it'll let a lot more light in.

Didn't get to sheep today, with the trees and all. Tomorrow we tackle sheep, I have to give the buckling toltrazuril and maybe we'll have piglets? We're getting close! We need to butcher a roo and rearrange the chickens too at some point. That's all on DH. I am not a chicken person lol

It's been 10 whole months since we got them. Yes, I am hoping that at least some of them survive. It's the last cold cold day before it begins to warm up. But of course she farrows today. At least we know she can do it.

Patty's buckling is still nursing both sides evenly. I watched him today, he drains one side then switches. That little dude is going to grow fast!

DH and I got sick of guessing animal weights and he got sick of picking up sheep and goats... so we ordered a livestock scale. Will be here next week!

Me either. She already crushed two. We really like this pig, but I am done if she crushes all those babies. Not feeling much like being a farmer tonight.
