They go for $250 as breeders, if anyone wants breeders.

The move is not going well. He put Patty and kid in with the sheep, the sheep attacked the baby then went after Patty. So he's trying to move a shelter for the sheep, so Patty can have the big stall and Charlotte can have the kidding stall. Sheesh.

He went to get a barrel of grain... forever ago. As if daylight isn't fading away. Grr men and their scheduling! This must be done tonight, I will not be surprised if there are piglets tomorrow. So glad for the random extra shelters we have!

Sheep are moved , and DH plowed them a bigger area outside so they seem happy (til it snows tomorrow lol) Patty and buckling and their heat lamp are moved. Stanley pit himself in the kidding stall and Charlotte is outside being stubborn lol. Oops? Incorrect pigs!

Success! Finally lol. Here's hoping they're still where they belong in the morning.

I guess I'd better go get injectable iron for the piglets? Uh, there's no dirt right now lol. And the barn stall has a wood floor.

I've never given iron - but mine definitely have plenty of dirt...even liquid dirt right now for their dining pleasure...geeze. Do you know what size litter she's had before?

She had 7 last year. Only 2 survived because she dropped them in the snow :( but that was her first time and she was a good mom with the 2 that made it.

I think she'll be good, I'm more worried about the weather than anything, but she has tons of hay and the barn is decently warm. And we'll hook up the heat lamp tomorrow. I really hope it goes well because DH is dying for these piglets!

We need to completely redesign the barn I think. We built it for goats but now I need it for goats, sheep and pigs at alternating times, none of whom can live together lol. Fun. I have ideas though ... He also has to widen the doors so we can get the tractor in to clean it. Silly to do that by hand when we have a perfectly good tractor!
