Crazy sheep, lol. Cowboy had a fit today too...he is merciless with Maddie. I'm tired of him whooping up on her when the whole incident started because the neighbor's dog was out.

Congrats on the aloe. I love aloe.

Silly DD2, lol. But, it's her job to make you crazy. ;)

Oh grrr Cowboy. How rude! My crazy hunting dog gets over excited and yanks on my other dog's neck and collar. We got an electric training collar. That better stop. She's bigger and stronger than him and I like him better lol.

The plan is to (finally) tap this afternoon. I guess syrup producers are really struggling this year. It's been so cold so sap isn't running. And we had a bumper crop of acorns last year, so there are tons of squirrels. Apparently they're chewing through sap lines. What little turds!

I often see squirrels hanging upside down this time of year. They will nick a branch, then lick the sap that flows from the wound, or eat the resulting sap icicle. I have no respect for squirrels. They are so destructive. Even though, when I was a child, we raised a baby Grey squirrel, bottle fed, and he had the run of the house.

:idunno They are hungry. They can be destructive, more than most even think about -- we just see the cute little thing sitting up and flicking it's tail.

Hope you get some trees tapped -- at least enough for your own syrup making.

How's that kitchen painting coming along?

Kitchen is half painted! Lol he has been painting at work (nights, when the place is empty), so he's tired of painting!

I have a confession. I've been keeping a secret... we're having another baby. In October. Eeek! DH is excited, I am still freaking the heck out. This was not in my plans, lol. Oops? At least DD2 will be almost 2 when baby comes. Oy... I am SO exhausted. And finally turning the corner on being sick. And changing/putting off some things. Like the sheep? Yeah they've been demoted to fiber pets lol! Still getting my kinder but won't breed Patty again, so just one kidding in 2 years for family milk. Taking it easy . Or trying anyway...

Woo Hoo! So excited for you and DH! Yep, make him get busy finishing up ALL the painting. Pregnant ladies get a pass on those kind of chores!

A two year old and a newborn....you are a brave woman, lol. But - you got this!
