She reminds me of a certain mare I had. First time mom so I slept in the barn to monitor her starting a week BEFORE her due date. It was a cold and rainy spring that year. :/ The heifer carried HER baby a MONTH overdue (3 days short of a 12 month pregnancy!) and then had the gall to give birth on a warm sunny afternoon in the pasture. :tongue All went perfect, but the baby was HUGE!

K- she was with the buck for about 3 weeks and i know that he was giving her the ol' twenty-three-skiddoo the entire time. especially this last week

of course, The Big Man just drove away so ... with my luck it will happen any second..

Don't forget the cancel her planned Goat Convention trip. Send someone else in her place. She no longer should be allowed to use the company credit card, and no more expense reports either. Its called a 10 day performance improvement plan, else she's outa there for not complying.

Options: Fire her a** after the 10 days. Demote her to the male room (pun intended). Transfer her to Greenland to head up the herd department. Pawn her off to the R&D dept so they deal with her lack of devotion to the company mantra.

I'm sure HR will support you in whatever decision you make.

i'll get right on these actions items. but first i'll form a committee to do a deep dive to get all of the ramifications, a cost justification, plot out the over-arching goals, and of course get legal involved just to slow things to a stand still.

afterwards we'll all stand around a mock her failure under the sign in the lunchroom that says "no bad ideas people!"
