Almost Self-Reliant
One of my friends that I get goats milk from, has a pair of BEAUTIFULL PREGNANT Nubians. Her and I have been talking about me getting one of her little ones..a doe...if she has an extra one.

So far I'm enjoying my little "kids".....they followed me all over the yard and out into the pasture today. Of course, that led to a big nap for all of us! I swear, if I could house train them they'd be in the house Nah, just kidding...........maybe.......

oh golly! no BBQ here.. we are selling both those little angels!
but seriously arent they just the dickens!!?!?!? good thing they were both doelings - thats saving them from the pot for sure!
i totally laughed when the neighbor gal and i were high fivin' that they were both females - all i could see were $$$ and that selling them is going to buy our pigs for this year! whoot! (see i'm a hardened farmer its all about farm-o-nomics!)
we put everyone to bed and they are doing great - they still look like Lilliputians even next to Nibbles who is fairly small. but they were all nursing and Nibbles' udder was uneven...so i know they are getting their yums.
Quail - none for you!! (goat nazi here... really its in your best interest! no divorces, or slight illegal acts for goats!)

for the record... we just had the BEST DINNER EVER... wow and double wow.. we had one of the turkey breasts from the toms we dressed last week. we are both in a turkey coma.. sooooooooo good. and my house smells like....like.... turkey love. i've got two pots of stock going and the turkeyliciousness still hangs in the air.... if only i had tiny pies for dessert.....

anyway..
1) I have to build a pen for my goat - separate from the cow pasture. He said the cow pasture is for his cows only.
but they are so little! they wouldnt take up much room....
2) The well has to be in FIRST. (in progress)

3) How much are you asking for one?
*** $150 each... i'm hoping to capitalize on the suckers.. i mean... city folks who want to put diapers on them and keep them in their house and pretend they are better than dogs.
