i milked Little Nibbles! actually it went pretty well for a gal who's only been up on the stand about 3 times and for a first freshener.
the only thing... WOW does she have small.. eh.. um.. 'wanglies'. i once explained how to milk to someone by saying "squeeze (near the top) and play the piano" (work each finger down to get the milk out)... but this was morel like "squeeze and play the piccolo!"
so we'll see. the good news was the she stood there pretty well and only really hopped around when i trimmed her hooves..i think she liked the snacks.
so we went back and couldnt find the babies!!! here's where we found them:

so for today and yesterday's action items:
* found new source of straw - big toothless red neck guy: CHECK
* who also gave us a feel bail of TEF (!@?!?!) hay and yes he was right, we'll be back the goats loved it. he's my new pal: CHECK
* built new brooder for screaming turkey hen: CHECK
* cleaned out 1 hen coop for Day Camp for Runner and her chicks: CHECK
* planted more flats of seeds: CHECK
* heard Nibbles complain of the rough treatment she was receiving. told her corn was for milkers and to stand there OR ELSE: CHECK
* meaties finally realized milk was to drink; they are not dead: CHECK
* put up new hog panel gate in upper garden: pending
* clean out other hen house coop: pending
* take up some of Miss Ducks eggs then cry b/c its so sad: pending
* switch Miss Dash's eggs with hens eggs and watch her loose all trust in me: pending
but hey its friday so its pizza a booze nite! whooot (i mean: pending)
