1) I have to build a pen for my goat - separate from the cow pasture. He said the cow pasture is for his cows only.

but they are so little! they wouldnt take up much room....

*** $150 each... i'm hoping to capitalize on the suckers.. i mean... city folks who want to put diapers on them and keep them in their house and pretend they are better than dogs.

Please tell me they stay on Mama until weaned? I don't want a bottle baby!

As for their pen, if I kicked the Welsummers out of their pen..........

and I want the one with the Crescent Moon on her side, so I can name her Luna.

Ok well actually its not a cougar - thats our Nicholas seein' what all the pip poppin' is about. To be fair, Nicholas is our 17 pounder.. but isnt that just the smallest pip poppin goatie ever? the cuteness is intoxicating....

gosh she probably is about a pound. i wish we had a scale to see. honestly she is smaller than the dog's head. we are going to do a pic with a soda can for scale!

and yep this one is the lamancha... the other one looks more Nigi as she has the longer ears and as soon as we picked her up she screamed...so just like her momma there is one lamancha and one nigi in the batch.

the baby daddy was a Nigi Dwarf - Nibbles is a bit tall for standard mini's and we wanted to make sure she had small babies - and good thing they were both butt first! thank heaven for the 4H gal!

i'm STILL working on parting up the turkeys - just did the biggest one wow! took some of the stock off and just added more. later this week (when we have a rainy day) i'll do the canning. what a harvest!


ps i had a turkey sandwich for breakfast i couldnt wait until lunch. it was SO GOOD!
