Hey OFG! Whatup? :D

I'm freeeeeeezing my bunz off here! 19 degrees???? Tonight it is supposed to be a big old whopping 16 degrees!! Now that realtor told me that the weather around the Sound is supposed to be mild. MILD??? This has been one big fat wild weather year of a year! Last winter we had the big old 20 year snow storm, a summer with the three hottest days on record (over 103, and I don't have an air conditioner, left that back in TX) a very wet November and a hellova "cold snap" currently. :/

BTW, the Mexicans in TX used pig heads (and goat heads) to make their tamales. The ladies used to deliver them to my front door. :drool I miss those tamales! I tried to buy some ala cart here this weekend and they wanted $4 bucks a piece for them! I told them to forget about it, I'll have my mom send some from south TX.

We have so much chicken and deer in the freezer my husband actually said "what are we gonna have for dinner, all we have is deer and chicken?" Maybe next year we'll be brave and do a pig so he can add pork to the list!

BBH - my gal friend in Sea-tucky said yesterday was SO COLD.. so i checked the downtown temp and it was .....43*! so i mocked her for complaining about the cold!

19*? heck i dont even put on a hat until its 10*! (beats chest and does a hearty aagggggggggrrrrrrr) hee hee hee hee hee

actually you might just blame ME for the temp change. since i left your winters have been miserable! i keep teasin' that we have the mild weather now and you guys have the cold cold cold! sorry!

none of my hens wanted to go outside today b/c of the snow on the ground... but the baby ducks thought it was the beez knees!

I hate to admit it because I'm really a Wisconsin chick at heart, living in TX for the last 30 years has turned me into a BIG FAT WIMP. :/ I'm wearing my hat (coat, gloves and a scarf) INDOORS!!

In fact, I think I'm going to put the crock pot in my lap I'm so cold! (OFG With all this talk about piggys, and The Pig Man etc, I am doing a slow cooked pork shoulder with picante sauce like you told me a while back. I make it all the time now! YUMMMMMMM I don't own pigs, but the butcher shop sells local pork, I say good enough.)
