I'm a bare footin' flip floppin' hillbilly here, and I've mucked out the barn in flip flops - ask Becca she was totally grossed out by it.

No barefoot here either - we have lawn bees :/ (those are just bees in the clover, not a particular type of bees ;)) Last summer my son stepped on one the day before we went to King's Island. Thank goodness I had my herbal knowledge to go on and he was able to walk. Foot coverings are a rule here!
No barefeet here either. I had Crocs on one day and got one of those lawn bees inside my shoe. Stung my middle toe before I could kick the shoe off! Owie! It came in the hole at the front of the Croc. I love my Crocs, but I wear closed toe shoes when in the yard almost all the time after that.

When I just had the horse, I was known to be around her in barefeet on occasions (when she was old and crippled, only!). With the goats, that ended. Nothing like nanny berries stuck between your toes!!! :p

Those must be a nuisance to pick out!

No more bare feet for me either. We have something in the soil (chiggers or ...?) So for the first time in my life, I am wearing at least flip flops all summer :( Poop don't bother me, but having itchy feet does! :/ I hate wearing shoes, but ....

I do like my footbaths in the summer. SO often fixes them for me, with a dash of ACV or Epsom salts. That and a pumice stone help to get the dirt out somewhat. It is always an ordeal when I have some nice function to attend and I want to wear sandals  I spend the week getting my feet and hands ready, wearing sneakers and gloves.

Just went to Agway in my garden clogs. I had straw sticking out the back and probably in my hair too. I had splatters of green stain on my hands and arms. I ran into a lady from church who was buying dog food for her Shetland Shepdog Princess Claudia. She was not impressed with my get-up. She buys my eggs though!

The only thing that works is sanding them down..... :p
I bought my very own belt sander to sand a table I found on the side of the road so could refinish it.

Worked like a charm on my dry cracked (cowboy boot wearin) heels!!! I never admitted that to anyone in my whole life!! :gig Feels good to get it off my chest...

When I am in the pool, I secretly rub my heels against the plaster walls.

Whew...what a load off, I feel better now.

Well I don't have THAT problem.
