Umm.. No thanks! Lol. I guess I'll stick to one place. Lol.

And I just realized, my Nubian girls are over two years old now and they've never had any conventional 'chemical' dewormers ever, they've only had herbals. And you've seen how well they look from my photos. I bet the folks over on BYH would just flip.

Also, Sally says it was Nibbles that looks like a toad, not Debbie.

Don't y'all just love how we take over OFG's journal and she just goes on about her business and lets us?

I'm bowing out now..

What herbs do you use BB? I tried Mollly's herbs and I have to say that they aren't working. I'm now trying cloves and black walnut but only just started using them today.

I do have 18 goats now so I don't know if that will make a difference or not.

Hoegger's Supply has a couple different kinds that we use, as well as everything that's growing wild for them out in the pasture. They know when they need it and if they need it.

hey! whats all this going on? a party without me? now an imitator!!!???

golly - i finally got back online. some wingnut went flying off my computer's flux capacitor and we had to get a whatzit to get it patched before we lost structural integrity. or something. all i heard was 'blah blah blah blah that will cost yo $60."

dang.

whew... now i have to get caught up.

hey! whats with that gal callin' herself me.. hum......... this might take a while. but glad you all made yourself at home. now getcher feet off my coffee table!
;-)

K - i use the hoegger stuff too... it really does a great job. and it must do something for their coats - Nibbles is like a seal right now.

wait. there IS a goatman song?

AL - aint that right. i wouldnt send any new folks over there without reinforcement. there are a couple real winners over there. i'll say it again - since when did owning a farm animal become elitist? or require a PHD? i know plenty of old timers around here who turn their cattle out into the woods during the winter. and none of them fan their cows with palm fronds while serving them cucumber-lemon water. psstt.. its a COW. sheesh!

ok i gotta see whats going on... did they shut that thread down or are they still standing around congratulating themselves on how great they are doing with FARM ANIMALS.

golly.....

now who wants a corn fritter?

;-)

Actually, they are off topic on that thread. Not even talking about bucks anymore. But there are some good people over on BYH who are kind and have a wealth of info.

BB - did you actually plant the herbs in your goat area or were they there naturally. I want to get some birdsfoot trefoil in my pastures. That has deworming properties in it and I know alpacas love it so I would think goats would love it too.

Me!! :ya I do!!

And for the record, I never said you looked like a toad! I've been waiting all day to clear that up! I was talking about my favorite pic of lil' Nibbles, the cutest goat in the world! She looks like a little fat toady...before her diet that is. (Yes, I think toads are cute.)

I im-ed Blackbird to clear that up b.c I couldnt login here on my old computer. Thanks BB. :)

Anyway, OMG about the other place, I have that section tied up and minused away b/c my heart starts pounding and I get all red and stuff. GEE WHIZ!!!!!

(I barely visit the other sections too.)
