I haven't been on the site for a while, but good grief. I see what you mean. As a matter of fact, I ended up not going back because nobody but folks from here even posted a possible answer to my question.

I decided against the creepies, I mean Bee had a good run with them, but I saw the older ones my friend raised and its just so... Creepy! I ended up getting 50 males from the brown egg breeds. For .50 each

I have to say I am impressed with Meyer. Got a quick answer when I called, and they will deliver between Tuesday and Thurs next week. Sweet!

I've been super busy and you guys have all kinds of fun without me!!! I don't go over to that other forum very often, because there are too many that are sooo full of themselves. Then I just have to either bite my tongue or risk being banned

We decided against meat birds this year. Good thing too. I have enough to do and then SO got that deer. I am still processing that. Got the final stages of broth going.

Be careful around huskies. They are mean hunting dogs. They hunt to kill. We lost our whole flock one year to a stray husky

I got suspended from elementary school TWICE for beating the snot out of bullies. In 7th grade I tore a teacher a new one who was going to punish a kid because his lab equipment was broke. A bully broke his stuff when he was at the sink. The teacher seemed VERY reluctant to address the actual individual who broke the equipment and I went off. Got sent to the counselor for that one..LOL

I STILL hate bullies.

so there was a new person who had a basic question. some of the other good folks replied. so one of them MeanGoatBoyz called someone an idiot. so that "idiot" said she wasnt an idiot and how dare you. then the OTHER MeanGoatBoyz said 'oh no what he meant was'... and offered an explanation that was just as bad.

so's i MERELY asked... harmlessly... why the name calling and why not just offer a gentle correction (if someone was wrong) and encouragement.... or did they just want to stand around beating their chests and congratulating each other how smart they were?

and then we all got spanked. or mostly just me. it all happened very fast.

i came to find out that one of the MeanGoatBoyz, by his own admission, has been threatened many times about being banned.

and if i get in trouble please visit my blog from now on.

I have found that mods would prefer you be a bystander and not a stand up for the little guy kinda person. They want you to report but not intervene.

I think you should get a pat on the back and a gold star on your paper.

I must admit that the very superior goat knowledge there is sometimes hard to swallow. If I were a goaty person, I might get disgusted but, since I find goats disgusting anyway, anyone who associates with a goat is suspect in my book anyhow.

That is rather true Bee, but at the same time, very questionable. Wonderful Miss Eggs4sale, who is unfortunately absent because the viruses ruined her computer, was banned from BYC chat for three weeks many months ago. Something was 'going on' in the chat and she was away from the computer, cooking dinner for her kids but still signed in. They banned her merely because she failed to report it. She wasn't even AT the computer, let alone saying anything.

I'll probably get thrown to the wolves for saying that, but so be it.
Let the revolution begin.
