i lost both my dear sweet boys this year, so your pain is familiar. know that each of us would gladly take a bit of your suffering on our own shoulders.
the walking should help. it sure makes me feel better to humble myself before the glory of nature.
i'm going to go sit next to some kitty gravestones and tell them to be nice to the new arrival.
I'm so sorry! And here we were making a joke of your absence, forgive us.
20 years is a phenomenal run for any cat, and being YOUR cat for 20 years was striking the cat life lottery. She would not want you to be sad, so try not to be. ....cherish the memories!
But animals lives are never long enough. Been there, done that, will do again soon. Still worth it.
OFG, I am sorry to hear about your loss of a dear friend. I too am suffering from a loss of a long time dear friend. My Tommy passed a few weeks back after having him in my home for over 12 years. He was a special cat and I loved him and miss him very much. It takes a while,..then it gets a little better. I donated a small amount to a local cat rescue in his name,..they sent me a nice letter of thanks and put his name on their memory wall. Take the time you need,....
