you have no idea who cant believe what i do now let alone be the one to rip the guts out of all manner of poultry AND pigs!

for heavens sakes...

my honest to gosh, beer drinkin', truck drivin', born and bred in oklahoma red neck cousin just shook his head the first time i met him as an adult.. i wouldnt eat a steak. and he actually muttered under his breath "harumph.. one of those save the whales types"...

and now look at me. not only do i wanna eat a steak - i wanna butcher a beef right here in my yard.

now when the cousin comes to visit he asks me straight out 'what are we gonna kill? should i bring any weaponry?'

for heavens sakes. i'm a testimony to :

1. never say never

and

2. if *** I *** can do it.. anyone can.

:)

What a love story!

I met my hubby at 15 too. He and I were both in the same Advanced Biology class.

Ain't it grand loving someone that knows you so well you can both just grunt! :p

that is a great story! a true romance for the ages.

you and i sound so alike, even our stories (minus the love part... still working on that) of running away to the big exciting career and then booking it back to the country! ah, kindred spirits!

hi everyone,

we suffered another heavy blow today. our good old dog Shady went to her final rest today.

we praise God for all her years of friendship... and are glad she is now running with her old pack in green fields.

pretty much we are giving this season and F- so far. but we are trudging on.

i'll see everyone tomorrow.
