Liquor doesn't freeze! That is why my neighbor was out in his tshirt yesterday fixing the pole that a bunch of us have our mailboxes attached to....by afternoon, he has pure alcohol running through his veins and never wears a coat no matter what the temp. Still can fix anything better than anyone else, amazingly.

I saw a lady shoveling out her driveway after our big snow last week. She was wearing capri leggings and flip flops. Someone was trying to get out of the driveway and got stuck. She pushed. In her capri leggings and flip flops. 2 feet of snow and flip flops. Not just to get the mail, to shovel and push a stuck car. I'm guessing liquor might very well have been involved...

Well I don't know about the person you saw Henrietta, but my husband and sons wear flip flops and shorts in the snow all the time. They are crazy and don't drink at all except Coca Cola. They swear they are not cold. Now we don't live in Minnesota, but I'll be wearing snow pants and boots and a ski parka when they are doing this.

Some people just aren't cold.

In Colorado, you very often see shorts and a sweatshirt in the snow LOL.

I did not put the sauce on the meat, we just pour it over the top of the tamale. We actually like the sauce so much, we LICK it from our plates.
