I keep threatening to make my cat clean walls. She likes to walk through things and leave footprints. I'm sure it's on purpose!!! *glares at evil kitteh*

heh. Okay laundry is all done. If I can get it together enough to vacuum I'll call today good. Litter boxes need refilled. And then I can sharpen knives. :woot

About to put on a movie and start sharpening!!! Wheeeee!

I ordered all my sewing supplies for the year. LOL. I spent about half of my state return. I got all the fabrics I need for summer. I have my winter fabrics I just keep putting off sewing because the waist band is changing too fast LOL. So I have fabric, dye, a pattern making book to learn to do my sloper, and Neil Gaiman's Graveyard book to bounce me to free shipping :D This actually was a good deal. The books together equal as much as one book plus shipping. woot!

I got 20 yards of linen-rayon blend, 10 of chiffon, and 5 of cotton knit.

Then I got 4 dyes. (black red and purple for me. yellow for Imooto)

So I'm all set. That is 6-7 dresses, 5 camisoles and 5 undies. I have stuff for winter skirts and a pair of patchwork pants.

I do NOT own any pants for school, however. I only wear skirts and dresses. I imagine Goodwill will do fine for jeans, though. I'll set aside 20 for that. Street wear until we hit clinicals. And I will have to buy the scrubs fabrics to sew because my dyeing isn't that good yet. Buying cheaper cottons with cute designs will be best til I learn fabric painting.

I took a break and the floors haven't been done yet. I had to bake brownies (yes, HAD TO :lol:) Then I went out and felt up the goats.

The whole wheat chocolate chip cookies? The ones like I just put in the oven? Oh yes I did :D They really are the best cookies ever. I didn't care for the oatmeal ones I made last week. Honey oatmeal cookies sound good!
Brownies weren't enough - DH needs stuff for a meeting.

Found it:

Recipe: Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup unrefined coconut oil, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt - * Java's note - I use 3/4 t. of sea salt* as I like a slightly salty/sweet flavor
1 cup chocolate chips
optional: add chopped pecans or walnuts

1. Heat oven to 375F. In large bowl, beat sugars, butter, oil, vanilla and egg with electric mixer on low speed until blended. Beat in flour, baking soda and salt until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips.

2. On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.

3. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until very light golden brown (centers will be soft). Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.
