In my experience, Murphy's Law gets the job done better than anything else.

Such as if I put clothes on the clothesline on a sunny day, the weather will change and it will turn rainy within a couple hours. Just Murphy's Law ya know.

No, because trying to enact Murphy's Law means you change the law. It's basic physics. The observation of an action changes the action. LOL.

True, if you say, "I won't put the clothes on the line today because that will make it rain." then for SURE when you don't put the clothes out, it will stay sunny.

We used to have a friend that would get irritated at someone and later when telling about it used to call them a "Great Big Stupid A___ F__ing Doo Da". All of her friends knew this "pet name" for irritators. Often when she was in the process of a current irritation instead of making a big scene she would quietly start humming the song Camp Town Races and thing sing quietly aloud "Doo Da, Doo Da".

We would all have a horrible time keeping a straight face since we knew what she was calling that person. At least a "Pudding" or a "Doo Da" is somewhat covert.

Okay! That's gonna be my way to calm down now when I get irritated. So now instead of yelling at the braindead person who made my blood pressure go through the roof, I'll just hum Camptown Races until I laugh out loud. Thanks ladies, you may have just saved me from a stroke.
