so, Java, the storms totally missed us and its just like summer out there. my meats (batch 1) are looking plump and delicious. i dont have a way to weigh them but they are just about dinner plate sized. and its a good thing too - i dont have any more packages of chicken in the freezer!

Free - GOAT SMOOCHER!! ha ha ha ha actually i smooched one of the Niblets on the head in front of the Good Neighbor mom and she almost wet her pants laughing at me. cats get smooches, dogs get nuzzles (don't lick me!!! auauhghghgh!!! GET THE IODINE!!!!) and everyone else gets my bad attitude.

and yeah i feel better about Vita and now she gets to have a loving new home and not me standing there yelling "hey you meat bags! get your milk sacks full or you'll be on the grill tonite!"

so it all works out.

i'm planting taters today - cant WAIT for the sunshine next week!

As for weather, it is nuts that so many places are having rains convincing enough to start pairing up animals, flooding rivers, etc and we are so parched I had to give my horses HAY. HAY I tell you! In May! When there should be grass to eat! *sigh*

All you Ohio / Etc folk stay safe in the crazy weather. It is hot and beautiful here but I'd sure love me some rain.
