so today we are in for hot, hot, and more hot, with a side of hot, and more hot for dessert.

for heavens sakes. 2 weeks ago we had a HIGH of 49* and yesterday we hit 96*. i even hid in the house for part of the day.

today i need to get crackin' so i can beat the heat. on today agenda:

1. more complaining about the clothes line
2. tater and bean planting
3. getting my hen house in order
4. hiding from the heat

and i think i have to break down and worm Nibbles with the chemical stuff. her production is lower than it should be.

thats the scoop here. happy hot tamale.. i mean.. tuesday!

When I talked to ds last night, he said... geez, ma, that is the same weather we are having in Austin!

So TR and I cracked open a couple cold ones and sat under the grand old maple in the yard.

OFG - this morning both of my goats put out half of what they usually do. I think the sudden heat affected them :/ (not saying that that is Nibble's problem )

My goats must be abnormal cause it has been Africa hot here and I got more milk than normal from Aliana yesterday and this morning. Crazy goats. Maybe cause they are drinking more??? Ya think?
