We must never ever never let my Indy and Kai get together. The destruction would be legendary!

That picture is the EXACT reason I love dog crates and train dogs to love them too. I always feed them in crates and they LOVE to charge in. I leave them in there whenever unsupervised or where they can cause trouble until they prove themselves trustworthy. I've been trained through long practice to avoid destruction as much as possible.

At least it is a passing phase.....

Possum Kingdom... ha ha ha ha ha

swing on in for a brewski, FJ, i know you guy got cooled off but man it was hot here all stinkin day.

poor Kai is a victim of the heat - its been too hot for her to be out there running around all day so she has too many wiggles. when she was outside with me she crashed around thru all the gardens and trampled everything down. and we lost the last of the balls so we cant even play fetch to wear her out! ugh!

she's just now going on 9 months and we are bracing ourselves for her teenage years. last nite i heard a big commotion and i went out to look in the dog area - and she was carrying the dog beds around. and then she gathered up all the toys. for heavens sakes!

Hen - maybe they'd wear each other out!

AL - i have no comment about that. ha!

Boyd - i'd love an extreme makeover for them pigz! ha! i wonder if they'd become dairy cows! ha ha ha

You can wear a dog out putting a weighted backpack on them, but since she is still growing you might want to wait.

Did the vet say to keep feeding her puppy? I'd change to adult now when you use the puppy chow up.

9 months is right on target for the right time for the real chewing stage to begin. She is being a NORMAL puppy.

If she likes to retrieve, there is a toy where they drop the ball in and then it throw it for them, I forget what it is called. You have to teach them to drop the ball in but then forevermore they can play ball all by themself.
