Nope, I do it all the time. I had poop on the cuff of my pant leg at church just this morning. And hay in my hair. And there's usually a feather somewhere too....

I've been so busy I missed the party, too. OK, OFG, what do you have that I can drink? Non alcoholic, and non caffeinated? Spies piece of cake that was missed and stuffs it in her mouth B4 anyone else sees it.

oh my golly... in the "Zoikes are you kidding me department".....

i just went down to take the eggs out of our egg turner in the incubator - tuesday is their hatch date and i forgot yesterday!

and guess what i found? or i should say, guess whats in my bra?

yep - an early arrival! there he was on the egg turner riding it like a bull rider. well, a very small and extremely slow bull rider!!!

i guess the yolks on me! ha! ok so apparently i cant count and i dont follow instructions - but wow! its a hatch!

i saw a few more pips and hear a few more peeps so i think more are on the way. so for now this little lone arrival is going to get some snuggles.

how funny is that? zoikes!

peep peep peep peep.... the peeping just slays me!

Didn't the mass hysteria about chicks guidelines say not to keep them in your bra?

I think it's okay as long as you aren't kissing them.

well now we have FIVE new little friends down there! wheee!

they are just mixed mutts but i'm trying to perfect OFG's SuperDUPER WonderBird and make a million on this soon-to-be best selling breed! so we'll see how they turn out. but whoot!

my first instinct when i saw the first one was to run to grab the camera, but then i was all "oh no! what if he's stuck!?!?" so i just lifted him out. he was pretty hilarious tho. he's calling all his little buddies out of their shells - they are popping out like crazy! like...like... like a little stir crazy chick popper!

in other great news - we just got home with about 25 MORE pounds of strawberries!!! yay!!! so you know what that means.. more pie.

what a great day - and its cool and comfortable.

oh wait.. there's MORE!

yesterday we had a nice young family come by and we sold Turkey Bob and some chickens. Turkey Bob and TZ were trying to kill each other - so someone had to go. i'm not sure why we ended up selling my best turkey buddy - who came when i called him.... and not that demon TurkZilla who i need to dog to protect me from... but thats the way it ended up.

we gave them some older, but still good laying hens, the blue rooster, and then sold him some of his harem. it was a great deal for them - but i never feel bad about helping a nice young family get started.

thats the word here! and when i say "Happy Monday" i mean its a hap-hap-happy day!

peep peep peep!
