We got a massive amount of lightning but very little rain and it was very strange weather. But some local areas got 3+ inches and that was just a couple miles away from my house. Weird indeed.

I think I may have to re-name Dinah to Nibbles. Or Bitey. Or 'stop biting me you little witch'. She bites :p I don't know what her deal is.

Mo sounds like a sweetie pie - and you know I don't really like cats but there are exceptions. Our Linus likes to 'talk' with us and it's so cute I can't stand it.

Frawg the bassett hound? hee hee hee thats pretty good

Abi we keep thinking that if someone who'd never had cats before got Little Mo... then all other cats would be 'ruined' for them. really he's just perfect - snugly but not obnoxious, and most of the time he just is adorable and thats it. no hidden mysteries there.
;-)

and he does everything in Slow-Mo... its hilarious. it took him a long time to do some of the play behaviors in "real time" vs in Slo Mo. we think he was really behind in his development and may have a problem with his sight. he was probably six months behind in what you'd expect kittens to be doing. he came to us beaten up and starved. we think we are very very lucky to have him.
:)

Nibble appears to be on a hunger strike. i dont think she ate one bite or had one drink of water yesterday when she is in her new yard. and the screaming continued all day. thanks to Java i got the heads up on an approaching storm so i scooted Nibs and Dahlia up tout suite... but then the storm stalled. boo. i really needed about 20 mins of rain yesterday but got nothing.

the goats continue to act like maniacs. if they dont knock it off i'm gonna have to give them a common enemy - the dog. Kai cant understand why SHE cant go into the goat yard like Titan. she caught one glimpse of the ducklings yesterday and her whole being changed from adorable goofy overgrown pup.... to steely eyed killer. thats why little Kai, thats why.
;-)

and

Mr. Tibbles, my beloved Salmon Fav roo, got the working end Dog#1 yesterday. i cant believe it - Mr. Tibbles flogged me! right there in the goatyard! and like i need one more scratch on my legs. i look like someone beat me with barbed wire already. so i went to score a rooster goal..and missed. so i winged the bucket at him, F-..... so then i went and got the Dog.

he's so great. a yard full of meat bags.. i mean goats, and slow moving hens and Ti goes directly for the rooster that i'm pointing to. i'm not even sure if he saw me point to Mr. Tibbles but he knew which one needed The Business. mostly Dog#1 just lopes after the offender - who has to run off in shame.

and then Ti and i went and played ball - which is all he ever really wants to do.

Mr. Tibbles is going to enter a period of reconditioning. i'm going to start carrying him around and threatening him with The Dog. even Fred knew to run from me if the dog was close to the gate.

the problem is that The Big Man has declared that we have "too many roosters" - gulp... so someone is going to glory in a pot of noodles. Mr. Tibbles will become Mr. Dumplings if he isnt careful.

thats the word here. b*tchin' goats and wild roosters.

happy saturday!
:)

Amira gets cat haters to admit that she, at least, is all right. :D

Pudding is a bit like Slo-Mo. *laughs* She is usually a few moments behind when she chases things. She actually does better with flies than string. :idunno But she is a very Special kitty!
