so the breakfast (well... blunch) pizza was really good! i let it go just a minute or two too long and the egg yokes were more firm than i would have liked. so now i'll know to bake the pizza for 6 mins, then top with eggs, then let cook until done.

yay!

Build a snowman
make a snow angel
throw snowballs at OD
throw snowballs at The Big Man
Ice skating?
Cook some pork
Make snow ice cream
Catch snow flakes on your tongue
go sit with your preggers goat
chase OD with the beatin' stick (just because)
Take the dogs for a romp in the snow
Shovel some snow
Watch the Big Man shovel some snow
Shove snow down The Big Man's shirt
Cook some more pork
take a hot bath
Go to bed, wake up and start again tomorrow.

sometimes we throw snowballs for the dogs to fetch.. they get all confused ..its hilarious.

I LOVE to throw snowballs for my labs....especially when they catch one in their mouths and look at you like "where did it go mommy? I just had it, where did it go???"

oh geez.. ok i'm suiting up to go and check on the little goatie.. i'm hoping she holds out until sunday.

Last year I found a recipe for snow ice cream, but unfortunately the person who was describing it said it wasn't anywhere near as good as they remembered from childhood. Bummer.

you know, i asked my neighbor (who's been around the farm a time or two) once is 'this kind of thing' happens to everyone.... and she said (gently) no honey, i think its just you.

sigh.

but at least we can have some laughs. i do think, however, that i'm emotionally scarred by watching that egg come barreling out of that little hen's bottom tho. i may never be right now.
