Congratulations, PP! Sounds like the little darling is doing well and very strong! And you got the couch out! This MUST be your day! :D

Our rule was playdoh and silly putty were only allowed at the kitchen table or in the garage. The first time the rule was broken, ds decided playdoh wasn't that great and the confiscated can sat in the cupboard above the kitchen sink for a month before he asked for it again.... People without kids and gifted others with silly putty - there otta be a rule!

:) PP, Glad you are feeling well. Glad the christmas was good!. Dont sweat the play doh or silly putty. They are only young once.
Our big thing was leggo's. Dont sound to bad does it? UNTIL YOU STEP ON THE SMALL ONES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WITH BARE FEET!!!!!.
I hope they get ahold of you soon with news on the diaper. Darn it!

It is her toy right? She is the one who has to live with her mistake of cutting the horses mane and tail off, LOL. ow, stop slapping me PP

I thought I told you guys to share the cheese balls! :D

DH took care of the silly putty....I think...I went and took a nap with DD.

I heard back from the diaper lady and she said she would mail it out tomorrow.

We have K'Nex and Lego's everywhere...they are pretty good about keeping the legos up but terrible about keeping the K'Nex picked up. The things that get me are the toys or coathangers that get left on the kitchen floor. I have slipped a couple of times on them...once just my foot went out from under me and once I actually fell all the way down to my knees. That is the worst because it really wrenches my hips and I can not walk for nearly a week after that because my hips are so sensitive.

I never realized that my body was so out of whack til I went to a chiropractor. NOW I can tell when my hips are out of alignment. It is kinda painful isnt it?

Too funny!!! My boys all got each other toy guns that make shooting sounds!! I have heard DH say "Push the trigger one more time and it will be in the garbage" about a MILLION times!!!
A flute would not last an hour here!!

shooting gun noise....AHHHhhh...I hear you. Nicole had a Barney song book thing that drove me insane. "I love you, you love me" and it seemed that thing would trigger and sing WITHOUT the button being pushed. Gave me the creeps, well, it is gone also....to goodwill...HA HA

I know....NOISE! Kid toy noise will drive you insane....it does me!

I want to get her a drum set but I just can not bring myself to buy it...cause I know in the end I would have to be commited..LOL

My dad brought us 4 more loads of slab wood over the last week so DH is taking advantage of our 60F weather today and trying to get it all cut and stacked with the boys help.
I am of course doing my best to hold down the couch and get my post count up on here!!
DD got new My Little Pony vidoes for Christmas so I get to be tortured by watching them OVER and OVER again!!

The living room seems so much bigger with the couch bed part of the couch out of the living room! And I love having my new sewing table sat up in its place!

My mom put Coturnix Quial eggs in the 'bator for me 14 days ago so I am hoping that they will be hatching in another 3 days if we calculated right and did not drowned them! We had a thermometer with a humidity thing in it and then it just up and died so we bought a new one and put it in and the humidity said it was 20% higher than the old one!! Yikes!!

Now, I am just waiting for my PUL fabric that I ordered to come in the mail so I can get my cloth diapers made.

DH just brought our brooder box into the house to get it dried out because it is a wooden box that has been sitting outside. I am hoping the quail should be pipping in a few days!

Hi PP,

I know what you mean about play doh and silly putty! I threw out all of the kid's play doh and guess what they got for xmas!!! FIFTEEN tubs of play doh....gonna kill my mama! They are only allowed to play with it on the kitchen table. I had banished it to the front porch until I had to get a scrub brush and scrub it off the porch and then it went into the trash. Oh well, we'll see how that goes. Tyler got his gator and he is burning up the road with it! Driving like a pro...scary! Maddie is loving being driven around.

I''m glad you all had a good holiday and that you are feeling well!
