Ahhh! Wanda, you made me cry!! I am so glad he likes them!

Update on my step dad: They did another ct-scan today and the lung specialist looked at it and said he did not see any clots. They are still having trouble getting his blood pressure up. He is on a high stream of Oxygen and he still needs to be weened off of it or he needs to get a new machine for at home because they have him on a level 12 at the hospital and his machine at home only goes up to a 5. They made mention of possibly sending him home Monday, maybe, but with his blood pressure so low and the oxygen my mom is not sure how they are planning on doing that. She is thinking maybe they are going to want to do a heart cath next since the lungs are no longer showing clots. It is just a roller coaster of changes any time you have a loved one in the hospital. Please continue to pray!

Thank you all for praying. I am waiting to hear from my mom for an update for today. They took him off the blood thinners yesterday. She is waiting for the Heart Doctor to come in and tell her what's going on. The Lung Doctor said there was damage done to his heart but my mom is not sure if he means the damage that was already done from the last time he was REAL bad or if it is MORE damage from this time around. She said the water retention in his legs is a LOT better and they not have him getting up and at least walking to the bedside potty. He was able to walk about 20 feet at a time at home before this but would have to stop to catch his breath about very 5 feet. The Lung Doctor said his lungs look like cobwebs from the COPD and Emphazema (sp??) They are mostly going to be sending him home, although sure when, not because he is better but because there is nothing more they can do for him in the hospital. Please pray for my mom. She is totally stressed out. The everyday stress of dealing with someone in the hospital is rough on her.


My DH got me a 23 qt Presto Pressure Canner Saturday! He knew that I had been wanting one and when he saw it at Ace hardware he snatched it up!

I wish there was a way to make passing easier on the people that still love him. That part is never easy.

Pam I am so sorry that your step dad is not with you anymore. The Lord must have a better plan, as difficult as it is for us to understand these things, and as heart wrenching as it is to let them go. You will see him again one day, smiling and happy and healthy! Love and Hugs to you and your family, praying for your mom too.
