I came across this site today and 
This guy is prepared!! 
I mean seriously! From what I am reading he has TWO bug out locations set up and FULLY stocked! His pantries!
I need to get busy!

If you see his GOLD and SILVER stashes it is obvious this guy has $$$!! Of course that always helps when you are trying to be prepared!

YEAH! I found a guy NEAR me that has Jersey cows!! Middlefield! That is only like 45 minutes from me! SWEET! He said his heifers start at $550 and his calves start at $400. He said he will have a whole bunch for sale in March! He said he can always come up with an older heifer if someone is looking for a family milk cow! I told DH my reward for getting the credit card paid off is going to be a cow!
In the middle of my typing I got a return phone call from a lady I called yesterday and she has TWO purebred Nubians bucks!! 
I was just about to give up on finding a buck let alone a purebred Nubian! I am so excited right now! She said to call her back on Thursday and she would let me know which one I can get because she has another lady (the one that gave me her number) that wants to use one of her bucks first.She said I could keep the one non proven (who has already done one stud service and it seems to have taken) for as long as I want (36 days or 2 cycles) but the other proven VERY good lines buck for a very short time...like 3 days!

Holly Cow!!! good for you. I know how much you have wanted a cow. That's definitely something to work towards.
I saw the family pictures on FB. They are so great. I really like the one when your all walking away holding hands. I need to try and get one of my family like that like.

I asked for some non-traditional pictures and then told her what I wanted from ideas that I have seen from other large family blogs. In picture 114 she cut my MIL out completely because we forgot to get a traditional picture! LOL! I think it still looks good.
I think my DH was so cool about the cow because I said AFTER we get the credit card paid off because he knows what a HUGE accomplishment that is going to be!

Please keep my mom and dad in your prayers. My mom took my dad to the doctor because he did not have enough strength to get ready for his eye doctor's appointment. They are rushing him to St. E's by ambulance because they think he is having a heart attack. Please be praying!
