Oberhasli is a breed of milk goat right? I don't think they are very popular around here. I have not heard of anyone having any.

Yes, they're milk goats. They must be a little more popular around here. My twins are half oberhasli. Our vet owns their mother who is an Oberhasli. There are usually several on CL at any given time. They're pretty brown goats. Mine take after their Saanen daddy and are almost white. They look like dirty white goats most of the time.
Although Daisy, in my avatar, looked pretty white as a kid. She's not that clean looking any more.

Thanks Aly! Congrats to you!

I have actually been doing very good at keeping up with my blog lately! I have 5 posts wrote up and ready to go too! I am participating in a 30 day blog challenge...to post 30 posts in 30 days. It has been a little more challenging than I thought because I have been working midnights for the last month and I am expected to work the rest of this week and next week as of right now. 2AM-7AM at the trucking company as a security guard. So I have been SUPER tired ALL the time!! But it is nice to have a paycheck every week...although small it is better than nothing! My debate now is whether I should put it on debt or putting food aside.
I have given up on my dream of having a milk cow...for now. I am up to three goats now and HOPEFULLY two of them are bred so if I can get the milk from them up and going I will be ok with that! We don't have quite enough space right now. I am dreaming more and more about having my big family farm though and being able to grow ALL of our own food!
I hope everyone is doing well over here!
